David Roth strikes many chords, hearts, and minds with his unique songs, offbeat observations, moving stories, sense of the hilarious, and powerful singing and subject matter. As singer, songwriter, recording artist, keynote speaker, workshop leader, and instructor, David has earned top honors at premier songwriter competitions - Kerrville (TX) and Falcon Ridge (NY) - and taken his music, experience, and expertise to a wide variety of venues in this and other countries full-time for more than two decades.

David’s songs have found their way to Carnegie Hall, the United Nations, several Chicken Soup for the Soul books, the Kennedy Center, Peter, Paul, & Mary concerts, NASA’s Goddard Space Center ("Rocket Science" went up on the Space Shuttle Atlantis's May 2009 mission to repair the Hubble Telescope), the classic folk song book “Rise Up Singing”, and 10 CDs on the Wind River and Stockfisch labels. Featured on many of Christine Lavin’s Rounder compilations, the former artist-in-residence at New York’s Omega Institute has also been a songwriting judge at Kerrville, Napa Valley (CA), Tumbleweed (WA), Eventide Arts (MA), the Avalon Festival (WV), and the South Florida Folk Festival.

Greg Greenway is a multi-faceted gem found beneath the radar of the corporate music world. A rare combination of instrumental expertise, a soulful and moving singer, powerful poet, and sparkling entertainer, Greenway is one of those difficult-to-categorize performers who has found a home in the modern acoustic genre. Originally from Richmond, VA, he moved to Boston for its rich Folk Music tradition and has become one of its most unique and superlative emissaries. Put simply, he is one of the finest entertainers you'll ever see. Musically, he draws inspiration from all over the map--gospel, rock, blues, Jazz, and world music. But his center is in the singer/songwriter tradition that traces it roots all the way back to the social awareness of Woody Guthrie. His central appeal is that it all comes through the singular lens of Greenway's humanity and his easy affinity for the audience.

Reggie Harris sang his first public solo at age four! That auspicious start unleashed a passion for music that grows stronger through every year and with every performance. Born and raised in Philadelphia , PA, , a city with a rich musical heritage, Reggie discovered the joys of harmony and vocal expression in the churches and schools of his youth. From Bach to the Beatles to Belafonte to The Blind Boys of Alabama… Reggie found the connecting points between the spirituals, America Folk, pop, gospel and started making that music his own!

Reggie has lived out much of his musical passion as part of the scintillating duo, Kim and Reggie Harris, and has inspired people of all ages, around the world,  for over 30 years in performances, song circles and in workshops in the US, Canada and in Europe. His songwriting prowess is often overlooked as his work as a storyteller, lecturer and  song leader make people notice that this engaging artist is a tireless advocate for peace, justice and cultural exchange! Reggie Harris can rock!

Coffee With Conscience Concert Series

Ahrre Maros is the owner of Ahrre's Coffee Roastery in Westfield & the Fair Trade Coffee Company on line. He has been presenting live musical events since 1992, when he first opened the Common Ground Cafe in Summit. The Cafe is gone now, but Ahrre continues bringing Professional Touring Musical Artists to the area for the benefit of the local community and several local Charities.

Currently, Ahrre presents the Coffee With Conscience Concert Series in Westfield, which is a Seven-show Series which acts as a fund-raiser—raising much needed funds for worthy causes—while providing the participants with the opportunity to attend quality performance events near their homes, providing an audience with a cultural experience, providing artists with a venue to display their talents, and generally strengthening the local community by bringing a group of people together for an evening of music in a comfortable setting.
